Who we are
Quantdesk Private Limited (“Quantdesk”, “we”, “us”) is a software studio based in India. This Privacy Policy applies to quantdesk.in and to all Quantdesk applications and services, including Kandle, Prep10, and future products (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. If a product offers sign-in, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, and any content you choose to sync or store with your account.
- Usage and crash data. We use Firebase and Google Analytics to understand how the Services are used and to diagnose crashes. This includes device model, operating system version, app version, coarse location (country/region), and interaction events.
- Advertising identifiers. Some of our apps show ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect your device’s advertising identifier and related signals to serve and measure ads.
- Support correspondence. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence and the email address you used.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
- To show and measure advertising in ad-supported apps.
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
The Services use the following third-party providers, which process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google — Firebase (analytics, crash reporting), Google Analytics, and Google AdMob (advertising). See also how Google uses data in AdMob.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted on request. Analytics and crash data is retained per the provider’s default retention windows.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, or to raise a grievance, write to contact@quantdesk.in. We respond within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.
You can also reset or delete your device’s advertising identifier, and opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings.
Children
The Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and, where appropriate, notified in the relevant product.
